One recent project: a century-old basement floor that had to be fully broken up and removed before a new basement could be built.
In one 6-hour shift, the crew broke up roughly 800 sq ft of 6"-thick, 100-year-old concrete using jackhammers, sledges, and picks — then formed a chain, filled buckets, and hauled an estimated 15 tons of concrete out to trailers for disposal.
